From our recent residency at Six Senses La Sagesse, in Grenada, April 2026.
Guests are seen going so deep after a session that it takes them minutes to return to reality after their session. Rebecca Horrox is the aquatic bodywork practitioner.
“Amazing experience with Rebecca and Joel taking me on an amazing journey through music and water. I felt very rejuvenated and timeless. A must do for anyone who has relaxation issues as myself. Thank you so much for this experience!”
- Sasha, guest at Six Senses La Sagesse
“Transformative experience like I’ve never had before! The underwater sound with Rebecca’s healing touch was exceptionally healing and relaxing. Very calming experience. Getting in touch with my body, mind and soul.”
- Chloe, guest at Six Senses La Sagesse
As an Integration Coach, wellbeing and Reiki practitioner, I’m always interested in exploring new healing modalities. The aquatic sound healing experience with Rebecca and Joel at Six Senses, La Sagesse was the highlight of my stay. Held in the water and immersed in sound, I experienced a deep sense of rest, stillness, and “no-mind.” I was able to fully let go of doing and drop into simply being—feeling supported, held, and at ease.
I left feeling restored and reconnected to my true Self, and I’m still carrying that calm with me.
If you’re looking to deeply relax and let go in a way that goes beyond words, I highly recommend experiencing it for yourself.
- Lalita, Guest at Six Senses La Sagesse
‘As one of the first spas to introduce underwater speakers it took a little time for the idea to catch on. Now however our monthly sessions are always fully booked with waiting lists.
Underwater sound behaves quite differently from how it travels through air. It moves more quickly allowing music to feel fuller smoother and more immersive. Instead of hearing primarily through the ears guests also sense the vibrations throughout the body creating a deeply enveloping and meditative experience. This physical aspect of underwater sound can help ease tension, slow the breath and promote a profound sense of calm.
The experience of hearing music composed by Joel Cahen beneath the water is truly unique. His beautifully composed soundscapes are profoundly calming and because he performs live he stays attuned to the atmosphere and the guest’s experience throughout.’
- Lina Lotto, Spa Director, Senspa Carys Manor, Brockenhurst, UK. The sessions have been very popular since they began in 2023.
"You are wholly immersed in your own senses... it was like being in the womb"
